Beta 8 on Mac USB dongle issue

At least on Mac DaVinci Resolve 17 Studio Beta 8 does not accept the USB dongle!!

Yes, Resolve's splash screen is requesting a license key with the dongle present.

Are you using 17.1? There is no beta 8 for the M1 yet.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

DaVinci Resolve 17.0 (note the 0) is not for the M1 Mac series. DaVinci Resolve 17.1 is specifically for the M1 Mac series. Not surprising the 17.0 didn't recognize your USB dongle.
DaVinci Resolve Studio and Speed Editor on an Apple MacBook Pro M1 Max.

Well, 17.0 should work under Rosetta2, but it's not the perfect solution and it seems dongles are not supported.
