Resolve silent install Windows
Trying to use PDQ Deploy to mass install Resolve 17 Studio and running into some issues.
Running DaVinci_Resolve_Studio_17.0b7_Windows.exe /i /q executes but returns no error code. Turns out you need to run the exe with /? and then copy and paste the resulting folder that is created in %temp% in order to gain access to the SetupResolve.exe and associated MSI and cab files. Is this normal for silent non-interactive installations?
SetupResolve.exe /i /q seemingly works to install Resolve, RAW components, panels and required VCredist files. Although it did spontaneously reboot during initial installation.
Also, entries in no Control Panel's Programs and Features exist for resolve other than the user that installed it.
There is no start menu entry is created for Resolve in "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve", but the Fairlight Studio Utility and DaVinci Control panels exist. This glitch/bug goes back many versions too.
Is there a secret switch to also install the Fairlight Audio Accelerator instead of having to use 7 zip to extract it from SetupResolve.exe\.rsrc\RES_CAB\SETUP_FAIRLIGHTAUDIOACCELERATOR_V1_0_13_EXE_1.CAB\ ?
