are you using high dpi displays ?

I am and windows was blowing the resolve UI up a lot.

modified my shortcut target to use:

C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe -WindowStyle Hidden "$Env:QT_DEVICE_PIXEL_RATIO=1;$Env:QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=2;start 'C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Resolve.exe'"

And resolve loaded in native 4k.... admittedly it's not perfect.
A lot of the text is really bloody tiny, but you get a lot more screen real-estate as a result of the native res.

If you are not working on a high dpi display, what is your screen resolution? This has a bearing on what you can see on screen. This is what the Color page on a 1920x1080 display looks like.
Resolve Studio 19.1.3 build 7
Dell XPS 8700 i7-4790, 24GB RAM, 2 x Evo SSDs, GTX1060/6GB (572.16 Studio Driver), Win10 Home, Speed Editor, Faderport 1, Calibrated Eizo ColorEdge CS230 + BenQ & Samsung monitors for UI, Canon C100mk2, Zoom H2n.

Your screen is too small.

I recommend the following minimums.

24" @ 1080
27" @ 1440
32" @ 2160
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
