I have installed Davinci Resolve 17 on MS Windows 10 but it failed to work for the first time.
On top of that, it seems to corrupt certain files which affect the normal functioning of my Microsoft Office 2013. Whenever I click on an Excel or Word Document file, an error pops up. Although the files could be accessed but I really do not know whether any functions of the Excel or Word are affected or not.
I tried to uninstall the DR 17, my whole Mozilla Firefox could not function at all, despite repeated reinstallation of Firefox, it could not work at all. The Microsoft Office errors didn't go away even after uninstallation of DR17.
I have to reinstall DR 17 to get my Firefox to work again but I have to live with the annoying errors on MS Office documents access.
I also notice that during the re-installation of DR17, it says that DR Control Panel installation failed.
However, after this re-installation, DR17 seems to at least get started.
I am pretty new to Davinci Resolve software and this installation-uninstallation-reinstallation problems and erros really give me a lot of stress and headache.
My question is, how to resolve the errors of MS Office 2013? And how do I uninstall DR 17 safely without affecting my other software?
