Using the DaVinci key = voided warranty?
Posted: Sat Feb 06, 2021 5:06 pmHi! I'm new to the Blackmagic crew. Very excited to receive my first camera last night. However, the screen has a tiny crack.
B&H (where I bought it) is on holiday. But I'm very eager to edit the raw footage I shot to test. I need DaVinci Resolve.
Can I install and use the activation key while I wait for someone to return a brand new camera? Or does that somehow void the warranty? I requested B&H simply not send me the activation key on the return shipment.
