DaVinci Resolve not starting with USB headphones

PostSun Feb 07, 2021 11:35 am

Hi. I have a problem, If I try starting Resolve 17 while my USB headphones (Corsair HS45 Surround) are plugged in to my computer, it gets stuck at "Looking for Control Panels". If I plug in the headphones after starting Resolve I get a popup: Audio Output - Selected Device not found. I This USB headphone bug seems to be affecting other people too judging by researching on the internet. I was using Resolve 16 before and it had the same problem so I decided to go to 17 in hope of a fix. But no luck. Every other program works perfectly be it the games I play or other audio related software like RTX Voice (newer version Nvidia Broadcast as well). I've uninstalled and reinstalled Resove multiple times but this issue isn't getting fixed. Please help and fix this issue as I literally can't use Resolve at all with audio.

Resolve is known to not work when those headphones are plugged in. Try launching Resolve without them plugged in. Plug them in when Resolve is running.

Is there any way of stopping Resolve looking for panels? I have it all turned off in Preferences but still it insists on looking on startup.
