Project settings for PAL and 8bit camera

New to DR17 Studio/Speed Editor - what a ride it will be.
I've been looking to setup my first edit and need to get Properties sorted out first. The only YT tutorials are for ppl setting up in the US, none for PAL ppl. Im in Australia.
Can someone point my to a good tute fir APL users or advise me in any way.
