17 Beta 8 audio glitches

PostMon Feb 08, 2021 8:13 am

Hi

I have experienced audio glitches on the rendered video both for public and studio version of 17 Beta8.

Render setup:
- Format: QuickTime
- Codec: H.264
- Encoder: Native
Audio format is wave.

Anyone else that is experiencing this? There are only a few glitches, so it has happened I do not find out before the video is shared (I do not watch over a 30 minute video after rendered).
Is there anything I can do with the setup to minimize the risk of audio failure?

Did you use nested timelines or compound clips?

I have used nested timelines.
The glitches are on different places each time. I am using very little audio changes in Resolve.

There is a bug with audio glitches if you use a nested timeline/compound clip that has more than one audio track. It usually happens with long timelines

The same problem has been reported by other users but has not been fixed so far

The only workaround I know is to decompose the nested timeline.
