17.0b build 23 : copy/paste bug and codec limitation

PostMon Feb 08, 2021 10:10 am

hello !

I don't know if it is a bug or a change of feature but copying and pasting individual nodes have changed for me in the color tab

I use to click on a node, ctrl+c then go to another clip, select the node I want to copy to and ctrl+v, content of the individual node was copied.

now when I do the same process, all nodes and grades of the clip are paste ! even if I only select one node like before when I ctrl+c

any other like me ?

Also,
I just did a project with a Panasonic S1H, and the 10 bits files that used to play correctly in Davinci 16 can't play anymore in 17. I own the studio version, and I know those file couldn't be played in the free version, but now in 17 it does exactly the same thing as trying to play the files in a free version : only sound waveform appear in the playing window.

Are you on Beta 7 or 8? This behavior was introduced in 7 and reversed in 8.

More accurately, it was refined in Beta 8.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
