Mac: Exported h.264/265 mp4/mov files won't play on ios

Hi. I have a problem on my mac exporting a h.264 or h.265 video in Davinici Resolve Studio 16 and 17. It doesn't matter if it is mp4 or mov.
When I send the video to a friend via whatsapp and he is also using an apple device, the video stucks and shows single images. When I do the same under Windows, it works perfect. The preview in whatsapp for the video doesn't work, too.
That's really annoying.

I'm using the whatsapp desktop app now and it seems to work now, but I'm still testing.

Could you post a short sample of a working and non working file ? Curious to see the difference ...

Switch off hardware encoding and try again.

Ralf, Daniel,

Can I confirm you're using DaVinci Resolve beta 7 or beta 8? If not, could you try that please? There is a pertinent bug fix there that solves a phone playback issue.

Please also consider posting more information on OS, hardware, drivers and other relevant info, as well as a log archive for us to analyze.

It's the latest beta, just downloaded from the website. Now it's working at the moment using the whatsapp desktop app.

I'm using a macbook pro 2019 with 2,3 GHz i9, 16gb ram and AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 8GB under MacOs Big Sur 11.1.
