Suggestion for "selection follows playhead"

Hi, not sure if I can post suggestions here, if not, I apologize in advance.

It would be nice if the "Selection follows playhead" option could be customized so as to select clips only from a particular track, or avoid timeline-wide objects such as adjustment clips.

If there's already a way to do that then please let me know.
