Face Refinement Bug

PostMon Feb 08, 2021 12:04 pm

Hi all,

I hope someone can help. I'm using the "Face Refinement" effect in DR17 and experiencing some issues.

There are artefacts during playback, which also feature on the rendered video. They are black blocks of varying sizes that appear and disappear sporadically. They seem to track the mask on the face. The artefacts disappear when I bypass the Face Refinement node.

I've updated drivers and I'm using the most recent version of DR17 and the problem persists. System info in signature.

Any thoughts?

TIA

OK.

Do you have GPU BRAW deciding turned on?

OK.

So my two thoughts are to turn it off, or update to a 3000 series nVidia card when you can.

Sadly, the problem persists when the BRAW decode option is turned off. This is a laptop GPU and it can't be changed.
