i cant hear audio out of my speakers while using resolve 17

I have no clue why I can hear everything else from my computer, but I cannot hear any sound from resolve 17 on my videos. It shows there is a wave form, but there seems to be an issue with resolve recognizing either my sound card or my speakers, not sure which or if its both. I could really use some help, if someone has an answer to this.
