Archive All Media?

When I archive a project, I'd like the ability to archive even unused media just in case I need to go back and do a re-edit some time in the future. I don't see that option for archiving projects from the project manager, and even Media Management doesn't seem to have the ability to archive everything.

For example, sometimes a client gives me a graphics file that doesn't import directly into Resolve, but I use another application such as Photoshop to make some edits on the original and then export it out in a form that will import directly into Resolve. I like to store that graphics file in the same directory tree that my other media is in to make it easier to find, but that won't get archived using Resolve's archive feature. The workaround is to manually copy all of my source media separately from the archive operation. I'd like to avoid that extra step and have the option to archive used media only, all projects media, or all media in folders (even if it doesn't appear in Resolve's media screens).

Resolve's Archive feature can only include imported media, so the best option (and what I do myself), is to copy everything you need to rebuild that project - media fonts, notes, etc. - using a File Manager (Windows Explorer or Finder) to your archive location. You can export a .drp into that same location if you wish, but I personally backup my databases and .drp's to Dropbox, which gives me an off-site copy.
