Where do you send corrections for the manual?

PostMon Feb 08, 2021 8:07 pm

In the Edit page, the onscreen viewer controls for basic transforms don't mention a pretty useful feature: if you hold shift while dragging the the bounding box side controls, it performs a proportional zoom. This is useful because if the clip is already zoomed in, the corner box controls may not be visible. Conversely, if you hold shift with the corner controls, it unconstrains the zoom.

I searched the manual for this, but the onscreen control section (p831 in the v16 manual) don't mention it. Had to play around a bit to figure it out. Is there a point person for documentation?

There might be an email listed at/near the end for corrections.

Then this thread is all you can do, I think.

When I have something I feel is a critical bug or something to report, I submit it to support-usa@blackmagicdesign.com, so that it’s assigned an actual ticket number that can be followed up on in the future.
