Resolve MXF OP-Atom Audio Export AWS FSx
Posted: Tue Feb 09, 2021 8:28 amLooking for assistance with exporting Avid Media in Resolve within an AWS Windows 2016 VM connected to an FSx.
Anytime we export in Resolve to any location on 2 different FSx shares, all Audio tracks are 0K in size. Using the same settings and switching to the Desktop or Documents folder, Audio is exported with a size. Embedding the Audio in an MXF OP1a will briefly show the file while exporting, but then delete when finished. Same test to the internal drive is Good.
We can export QT H264 with Audio to an FSx share.

Importing the same Files into Media Composer 2018.12.14 will write Audio files to the FSx to DNxHD 36.
We have tried 2 different VMs and 2 different FSx shares. Same results in both.
