Media Management Move Function?

So, I still would like to bring up this extremely useful function that used to live in the Media Management:

MOVE

This was (for us smaller guys who don't have an endless capacity to store media) a very convenient way to bulk-move flagged clips and clear them off our hard drives.

It's still documented in the manual on page 763, yet it was removed with the latest versions of Resolve 16 and no sign of it in the public v17.

Dear devs, is there any hope to bring that back when the stable version Resolve 17 is launched or is this a lost cause?

If not - what is your workflow suggestion to clear up space of unused clips? Am I missing an obvious answer?

I'm open to learning.

It seems it was considered too dangerous. You should do your Media Management with two separate storage devices anyway, it's faster and safer. If everything went well, delete by hand.
