Beginning Notes:
Updated title to reflect still issue in DR17b9
This process worked in DR15, but DOESN'T WORK in DR16 or DR17b9
I have a clip where I want subclips from it.
Process: Mark the I/O point, create a duration marker, modify the marker for keywords and descriptions for later use. When I'm all done with marking up the original clip, I select each duration marker, Set I/O From Duration Marker to make sure I've got the correct I/O area selected, then hit OptionB to create the Subclip. I do this for each duration marker in the original clip.
What I expect: I expect to get an additional subclip of the original clip name with Subclip added. Under that Subclip name I expect to see one, specific, individual Marker name. Repeating this process for each duration marker in the original clip (Marker1, Marker2, Marker3, etc.), I expect to see one subclip with each individual duration marker name beneath the subclip. When I play the subclip, I expect to see ONLY the piece of video I had marked as I/O.
What I'm getting: If, for example, I have two duration markers in the original clip, named Marker1 and Marker2, then I proceed with the above process, I end up with two subclips. Each subclip has beneath it BOTH Marker1 AND Marker2 listed. Very confusing!!! When I play these subclips, I have more video than I had marked I/O on each subclip.
I attempted a work around, but with that, I lose all references to the Duration Marker names and Keywords.
Since this worked in DR15, it appears to be a bug that has existed since DR16 and now carrying through to DR17.
