Export when using blanking in timeline

PostTue Feb 09, 2021 10:26 pm

With the recent update to Resolve 17 beta exporting video that has had Output Blanking enabled seems to be broken. Using the previous settings (applied correctly in previous versions) to remove the black upper and lower bars no longer works.

Remove bars? Blanking adds bars.

What is your timeline resolution, and what type of blanking are you trying to add? If they both have the same aspect ratio, you wouldn't see anything.

I haven't tried it since maybe beta 6, so it could be broken now. The crop control in the inspector is acting weird, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I can't duplicate this in Studio 17b8 for Windows. Seems to be working fine.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
