Project Files

PostWed Feb 10, 2021 12:23 am

Hey everyone wanted to do the training videos on the Blackmagic website but unfortunately, I'm running Windows 10. Is there a way I can follow along with the projects that are in Mac form using my windows machine? convert the files?

Been playing around with Davinci 17 for about two weeks now and youtube has been a great help. Keep in mind about me also is that this is the first audio/video program I have ever tried and I REALLY REALLY LOVE IT. all my free time is spent figuring out things and how to do it, wish I would have figured this out years ago.

Thanks.

What's your specific issue? The training files should work on all platforms.

Hello, thanks for helping. I'm getting the "media offline" error, my first assumption was that they were Mac files and that's why it wasn't working. I just watched a few YouTube videos about it just now and I'm trying to get the zip that was saved to the desktop so that Davinci will be able to see it.

Wasn't sure where to unzip the file so it would see it. kinda where I'm at now.

Only been doing this for about 2 weeks now and I'm super excited about it but a steep learning curve for a newbie. Thank you for any help.

I solved my own issue, didn't unzip the file before trying to restore it on the project page. seems there was a post about this 2 years ago called "Finding Tutorial Projects" you had already answered, thanks for the help.

Yes, I did say "DUH" when I figured it out.
