Issues with Cropping

PostWed Feb 10, 2021 8:22 am

I've attached a screenshot with the issue.

As you can see in the video, this is Lesson 21, so I've done this 20 times with 3 different video types (so a total of 60 videos) with 0 issues. For some reason, the crop bleeds through, despite being on the top track, with the slides below.

A different clip is selected in the screenshot, but the settings are the same for the current clip being displayed.

I'm not sure if this is a Beta issue, or if there is something I'm missing.

Any ideas?

For anyone with the same problem, it seems that changing Composite Mode to "Alpha" solves this in the current Beta.

Found that thanks to a separate post about pretty much the same issue. Sorry for the double post.

It really has driven me mad... Like you tried several things: caching, video type of source, ...
Setting the composite mode for that footage to alpha did the trick with me also. Thanks!!! Hope Davinci development team will solve this soon.

The response above that I wrote has the solution.

Changing the composite method to Alpha from Normal. =)
