Davinci 17b crashes with dual Radeon VII on MacPro
I've been doing a lot of testing on my old 5,1 MacPro running latest version of Catalina and DR 17 and there seems to be a problem with running dual GPU's. I have two Radeon VII here one internal and one in an external PCI box and as soon Resolve needs to render something out like a ProRes or even Render Caching some Super Scale clip the application stops giving an image and simply becomes unusable. That is to say; it doesn't crash outright but stops output of image through the Decklink card and doesn't seem to be responsive. When trying to quit the system starts to block making it impossible to reboot or shut down in an ordinary fashion. Once changing the settings in DR to use just the internal GPU and not the external (so 1 card) everything works fine. But using the external GPU and deselecting the internal GPU brings back the hanging when rendering issue. Can someone please look at this problem. DR 16.2.x didn't have this issue...
