Hi! I'm in desperate need of help, since I can't find an answer to this anywhere. I've send an email to BM support yesterday, but still haven't received response.
Issue
After a recent crash, I haven't been able to open Resolve again. It opens the loading screen/box, then it closes and then nothing further happens.

Issue
After a recent crash, I haven't been able to open Resolve again. It opens the loading screen/box, then it closes and then nothing further happens.
Story
I was using the program as usual when suddenly my sound in the headset cut off inside Resolve. It has happened before, but I usually restart the program when this happens, which fixes the problem. This time though - I wanted to find a solution, since I was tired of this happening to me once in a while. I didn't find the solution since the program crashed all of a sudden. Sound worked fine in all applications except for resolve. As I was investigating this issue I found that the sound worked on my speakers (which made me wonder if it had something to do with my wireless headset (Steel Series Arctic 7). I was switching back and forth between my output devices in windows, and that was when resolve suddenly crashed - even though I didn't touch the program.
After the crash I haven't been able to open the program again. The loading box opens, it finds my activation key/ dongle. It says "Looking for control surface" and then the loading-box closes and nothing happens (see attached video-link). I've checked my task manager and resolve is not running.
I just uninstalled the program and reinstalled Davinci Resolve Studio again into the same folder, as I was hoping, this would fix the issue. It did not fix it.
Notes
- I wanna keep my projects if possible.
- I did use a font in the video-project, that is no long installed on the system (I recently deleted all font that wasn't system protected). It wasn't an issue while using the program since it was renderet in cashe. But I'm not sure this has anything to do with the crash / reopening issue. This is the only different thing before and after the issue I can come up with.
- When I tried to reinstall I just reinstalled into the same folder, don't know if this might be an issue.
- I'm not able to find the font that I was using in the project, that I deleted (if that matters), so I can't reinstall it.
- The "report crash box" -or what it's called, only popped op once, as I tried to open the program. I did send the report along with contact email. I have wondered why it don't always pop up...
