I've never had my computer kick on the fan and lag so much in my life, I've been running Da Vinci for 2 years now and I've done every update, I decided to go 17 and now my computers fan kicks on every time I touch my timeline, playback is haulted to under 10 frames as well ..
MEMORY/GPU - both Auto boxes checked If I change it to OpenCL (just trying things) and close Resolve it wont open and I will have to uninstall, install 16 then change the GPU settings back then uninstall that and reinstall 17. Seems like it might be a joke but its the only way, once OpenCL is selected from the drop down it will NEVER re open again. Even when you uninstalled and reinstalled 17, it forces me to use 16 as a jumper to get back to 17.
