DaVinci Resolve 17 super slowing my Mac Pro

Hello everyone

I have Mac Pro with the below specs
Mac Pro (2019)
Processor 3.2 GHz 16-Core Intel Xeon W
Memory 384 GB 2933 MHz DDR4
Graphics Two AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo 32 GB

and yet when I open Davinci trying to edit my project the mac completely dies, it gets super slow.

The project I'm working on is with 6K footage shot by Blackmagic pocket camera
and the setting of my timeline is 1080p without any effects or color grading

I'm not facing this issue with any other program

Would you please let me know what is the problem?

I can't work this way

Did you try version 16?
There must be some massiv problem with your setup, I can play those files just fine on a MB Air M1.

the problem now that I upgraded my database without making a backup. so my projects will not work with resolve 16

Start a new project and work on it till u see the massive slow down, then generate logs from the help menu and post a link here with the drp of that project.
