Sony Venice X-OCN Files (*.mxf) Proxy Error

Hello. I currently use Davinci Resolve Studio 17 Beta 8 (this happened before). When I try in the Media Tab to right click a Sony Venice X-OCN File (*.mxf) and use "Generate proxy media" - I will get an error message: "Proxy media failed to generate for the following files FILENAME". Is there any plan to support this or do I have to generate the Proxy files within the camera (which was not done for this project). Thanks!

Is it only that media that fails?

Have you tested other Proxy formats?

Hello Jim, thanks for the reply. It's all the files from the same format that fail (we have like 20 similar clips). I tried all kind of settings for Proxy but it always gives this error message. I assume it might not be able to handle this one. With optimized media it works more or less - sometimes still a bit shaky but if you run it like a couple of times it gets smoother.

Yes, other files work only the X-OCN ones, that's why I thought it has something to do with this format.

What resolution are the files?

This is Studio Version latest Beta 8. File is 6K from the Venice in X-OCN

For the record, I have this exact same issue trying to generate Proxies for my Sony Venice X-OCN files.
