Big Sur 11.2.1 upgrade problems with DaVinci Resolve.

Hello everyone and apologies in advance if this is not the right place to post this. I upgraded my iMac(late 2015, retina 5k) to Big Sur 11.2.1 and since then the video scopes on 'Media' and 'Edit' pages in DaVinci Studio 16.8 are not getting refreshed. I can see the frame rate is fast enough and audio is playing at the right speed but the video is just stuck. When I pause it, it stops at the right frame, careens forward for a second or two and then gets stuck again while Audio keeps playing normally. I generated Optimized/Proxy media (PRORES 422LT) and was rendering at half resolution with render cache set to 'Smart'.

I got desperate and tried Resolve 17 Beta Studio (Build #27) and it gives me the same problem.

I was editing some Zoom video (H264) with an external GPU AMD Radeon RX 580. I have 32 GB of RAM and I've never encountered problems with zoom footage before. I then tried to open a very short clip (~10 seconds) it has the same render problems.

Is anyone else having similar problems?

I did a little more troubleshooting and this was happening after 11.2.1 because my EGPU was not configured correctly. Reinstalled using steps from PurgeWrangler and change DaVinci Resolve settings to the screenshot and it started working normally again.. thanks!
