blanking

PostFri Feb 12, 2021 4:25 am

Its great that I can turn the timeline into "wide screen" (blanking)...but...if I only want to do that to a single clip?? Yes yes I know I can add mattes, but rather just click a button. That would be a nice feature for Blackmagic to add blanking for individual clips.

By the way... tried doing a project in both Resolve 17 and the latest Premiere Pro. Yikes...Premiere Pro simply sucks. It would play my 4K pro-res but it would stutter and not start immediately, then it would play and then it wouldn't. Resolve 17 played those clips like butter! Is Adobe really this stupid?

For individual clip blanking you need to activate an override function.
