I have the recording from the camera (which picked up the audio nicely) and recording from the microphone, both have nice levels and I can see easily that they look like they match, but I have to do it manually because Resolve just isn't finding a match?

I've matched up some terrible audio before with no issue so I'm not sure what's causing this anyone else having similar issues?

Seems to be with longer videos, thanks to the dreaded audio drift, it's working fine with the smaller ones

Still the drift is only around 3 or 4 frames so not sure if it should pick it up a bit better

Hej,

just cut longer Videos after a few minutes and sync those. Then attach the rest to the synced clips and everything is fine.

In my case I don't have problems provided the volume allows DR to analyze properly.

Thanks I thought that would work, but it didn't even though I chopped it down, I uploaded an image here and you can see the volume is good on both, and you can clearly tell where they match, so I'm not sure why Resolve seems to be having an issue finding it with these.
I plopped it into Premiere and had no issues syncing it up

As I wrote in my previous thread here, auto align takes into account the trimmed parts of the clips

You have to trim the clip and create a subclip, then auto align the subclip

Huh weird, thanks I'll give that a try then later, that make sense as to why trimming on it's own didn't help!

I have tried in a thousand ways and in the end I always end up with plural eyes
