Flickering Media Offline with clips from Win10
Have used DR16, 17b6 and 17b8 with no problems until this week, when someone sent me clips recorded on a standard Win10 laptop, using built-in camera and standard Win10 camera software. Previous contributions have probably all been from Android or iPhone. All 5 of the Windows clips exhibit flickering "Media Offline" in DR 17b6 and 17b8, which also appears on the final render. I put them through another video editor, and loaded the output from that into DR, and it worked fine. And they play fine in various media players.
The original input was H.264, 1280x720x30fps. Scrolling VERY SLOWLY through the clip, scrubbing back and forth over each media error, seems to help, but is not a reliable fix.
My 'editing suite' is a standard Win10 laptop, i5-6300 2.5GHz, 16GB mem, Intel HD Graphics 520, SSD.
There are many other posts about Media Offline, but I've seen none that say they're dependent on the original source of the media.
Update: I've tried importing video recorded in the same way on my own laptop, and cannot reproduce the problem, so I'm mystified.
