Rhythmic screen flicker

I see a more or less rhythmic, mild flicker of the screen in Resolve beta 9, about 1.5 seconds period. This did not happen in beta 8 (and all those before) and I do not see it in any other program, so it shouldn't be my hardware failing.
Anybody seeing this (MacOS in my case)?
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

do not see the behavior on my cMP (bug shure) with 17.0 beta9
neither in 4k BRAW 8:1, prores 422HQ or 444, H264, H265 and 4k or 6k RED

Not seeing it in Windows.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

Was a weird hiccup. A fresh install fixed it.
