Playback in 'Gulps' -Fusion, etc

PostFri Feb 12, 2021 3:11 pm

I am new to DaVinci.
I am currently waiting for my official dongle for 17.
SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version: 10.0.18363 Build 18363
System Memory: 32GB
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 2700 Eight-Core Processor, 3200 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
GPU: AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100 - 8GB VRAM

I create a 3D Text in Fusion and then try to do a playback to see if I like it.
It plays back in "gulps" and then very slowly (painful). :-/
I stop it and then g Go back to the beginning.
Playback is normal until I reach the spot where I stopped it; then we go back to gulps again.

How do I get it to just play it back or render the whole thing or something that lets me just watch it?

Activate caching.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
