Hello,
I mostly use a system equipped with 8th gen i5 CPU (aka UHD630) for Davinci Resolve. While this surely isn't the fastest setup around, it is sufficient for my needs and happily even edits higher resolution content using the systems memory. Sadly the system board has pretty low voltages on it's DP outputs, leading to problems with my secondary HiDPI monitor. So for office work I throw in a "old" GPU (GTX660; 2GB) to get another DP port with better signal integrity, using it in addition to the iGPU still running the primary screen. Sadly Resolve insists on using this dedicated card as soon as it is present, despite it having far too low memory and constantly crashing even without using any filters. So at the moment I can choose between using my second monitor and getting Resolve usable. Sure, I could just buy another card, but I'm a bit reluctant due to the GPU shortage, high prices and the fact that I have no need for it but running a picky monitor.
tldr: Is there a way to force Resolve back to using the integrated GPU? Sadly it is disabled in GPU settings as soon as a dedicated card is detected.
