Adding additional cam/angle to a synced multi-cam seq.

Hi folks,

is it possible to add an additional cam/angle into an already created and synced multi-cam sequence?

Currently I shoot a BMPCC 6K, a Canon DSLR and an external audio recorder. I use a slate, sync via audio waveform and finally create a multi-cam sequence.

Since I don't have a physical third camera, I oftentimes repeat certain actions and shoot them with my 6K as an "additional angle", sometimes in slo-mo, etc.

Since there is no way to sync this last cam with the rest of the footage, as it is merely B-roll, close-ups, slo-mo, etc., how can I propey add it to my already synced and created multi-cam sequence or intercut with the multi-cam sequence?

Should I go through the multi-cam, place edits and when done, add last cam's clips as appropriate?

Many thanks!

I'm no expert here as I'm a beginner with multicam, but I've been doing a multicam concert with 5 cameras and bunch of B roll shots of audience. As the Multicam timeline is all on track V1, I've just been adding the B roll shots whenever I want them on V2. Works fine and doesn't bother the Multicam . I've even moved some of the shots from V1 to V2 and then changed the V1 shots and used the other shot on V2 in a window or for a double exposure.
You might want to lock the multicam on V1 & A1 when you bring in the B roll just to make sure you don't break it.

That's how I do it.
