[Solved] Offline clips with Pre-Conformed EDL

PostSun Feb 14, 2021 12:42 am

I sometimes have to grade a film from a single full res export (videomixdown). The Pre-Conformed EDL import option est very usefull to cut all clips in the timeline and implement the source timecode.
But I don't know when it started (maybe since Resolve 16) but everytime I use this function, the result is alway a fully cuted timeline with all clips offline. And it impossible to link them to the souce export. The only solution I found is to select the export in the bin window and Conform Lock with Media Pool Clip… each clip one by one (thanks Automator!).
The EDL is fine. The exported clip souce timecode matches with it. So I don't understant why this option does not work anymore (for me?).
Is there an option that I missed ? Or is this a bug ?

You have to make sure Reel Name Assist is disabled before you do the preconform import.
