Lights overexposed and shadows underexposed by default

PostSun Feb 14, 2021 11:22 am

Why Davinci Resolve by default change luminance project?

I open a new project, and do nothing, only i render and the result is the lights are overExposed and shadows too underexposed. Finally i lose a lot of film information.

I tried with different cameras. (some Phones, and Gopro) and the result is the same always.
I tried to change the color management and i get different results but always I lose image info.

I tried compensate this with a curve, but that is no good solution, and i get more slow render process.

I use Davinci resolve 16 and i tried with 17 version and i get similar results.

Thanks! im expect for your help.
