Database not upgradable in Resolve 17

PostSun Feb 14, 2021 1:51 pm

I just upgraded from latest version of 16 Studio - when I opened 17.1 beta 9 it said it could not upgrade my primary database. But the database I use when I'm goofing off upgraded. I'm curious what I need to do to fix this. For now I just downgraded back to the previous version of 16 I was using.

Thanks

Tommy

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

1) archive the database
2) import it back and give a name like "database_17"
3) optimize it
4) upgrade to 17
5) attempt upgrade database

In the project manager select a databases, there is an option called optimize IIRC or a word with similar meaning
