Copying Clips with Fusion effects to new project

When copying clips from one project to another with any work done in fusion, the "media in" nodes do not get copied with the clip. The same is true with a 'rendered in place' clip with fusion work on it. The information to decompose the rendered in place clip back to it's original state is maintained but the link to the "media in" is not copied over or preserved. If you don't know where you copied that clip from I'm not seeing a way to back track what is missing.

Is there a way to tell what the Media in is linked to so it could be reimported, or is there a better way to do this? We should be able to copy and paste from one project to another and have access to source footage inside Fusion with out having to manually backtrack the file.

Instead of Copy/Paste, try placing the clip into a Power Bin.

Thanks for the suggestion Jim, but Multicam, Compound Clips, Fusion Clips and Timelines can not be placed into Power Bins.

Well, that's frustrating.
