Fusion Render Issues on Beta 9

PostMon Feb 15, 2021 3:40 pm

I have a project with multiple timelines. All those timelines are collected in a master timeline for the final project delivery. One of the timelines has a basic Text+ component. When I render the Master timeline (with the nested timeline included), the render fails due to Fusion component not being rendered. However when I render that specific timeline, it renders fine. quite interesting and annoying!

Also in Beta 9, I had an issue where half of the video render was only with Right channel audio output in Stereo (In youtube delivery setting). When I rendered again, the problem was fixed - very strange and not repeatable.

On beta 9, I am also getting many Gpu full errors, but I believe that is common for all.

While I have Text+ crashes (as documented before) I have yet to see a "GPU Full" message on my humble hardware.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Studio 19.1.3
MacOS 13.7.4, 2017 iMac, 32 GB, Radeon Pro 580 + eGPU
MacBook M1 Pro, 16 GPU cores, 32 GB RAM, MacOS 14.7.2
SE, USM G3

I'm still thinking it's a bug with nVidia GPU's. (Or maybe just CUDA, which is the preferred option when using nVidia.)
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
