Project Server disappeared after updating to 17b9

PostMon Feb 15, 2021 7:33 pm

This morning our Resolve Project Server seems to have disappeared completely from our host machine after we upgraded to beta 8. We uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled at beta9 and it's still not there. Oddly we weren't given options to go in pick and customize what we wanted to install (fairlight, postgres, etc....)

The postgres DB seems to still be there, and is fine, but the project server shortcut is gone. What's the best way to remedy this? I know it's only beta, but we had a real good thing going with three different editors working on a project remotely.

My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.

As of beta 8 you need to download the Project Server separately. You'll find the link for "DaVinci Resolve Project Server 17" in the Support Center.
