Empty audio track causes a crash

PostTue Feb 16, 2021 1:26 am

Just wanted to report this as a possible bug. Didn't do extensive testing, however, successfully replicated the problem twice. As the subject field suggests - if I try to render a project with an empty audio track, Davinci 17.1 crashes.

Initially I was on beta 8, however, since it kept crashing, I updated to 17.1 Beta 9. Also installed the latest mac os update but the problem persisted. Then I noticed that there's an empty audio track. Deleted it - rendered video successfully. Added an empty audio track - crashed again.

This happened on a mac mini M1 16GB.
