audio issues with export

Exporting to vimeo from Da Vinci 17 (the free one)and the music soundtrack is so distorted it's ruined the entire video. I've tried converting the music track to MA4 and the problem remains. This project is overdue. how can I fix this??? Up to this point I thought DaVinci is brilliant software and I was thinking of buying it. Not now.. any ideas?

It might be as simple as levels, of a bug i the beta.. are you using beta 9, if not i would try that.
Mac or Win10?

thanks Peter - beta on a mac. the problem doesn't occur if I export the file by dropping it into google docs. But that means I can't add it to my vimeo showcase...will this bug pop up forever on this particular video? I wasted a couple of days trying to solve this which means I lost valuable time and money. I was considering buying DaVinci but I've been told the audio bug will still be there so... disappointing as I was really enjoying the fast learning and fun of editing in DaVinci...
No one seems to be able to figure out what is causing the track - even in MA4, to distort so woefully after export...As someone who always uses music to cut to, this would be a huge problem for me if I continued to use DaVinci

Can u post a link to a sample of the source and also rendered clip, also export and post the drp. (project)

There are numerous people using resolve with audio so lets try to find your issue.
