upgrade to 3060 rtx with 8gb 192b bandwidth or with 12gb 256

Hi! There's two versions which are quite similar and find it difficult to choose the right one. will davinci resolve benefit from more memory lanes and slightly faster clock or from more vram?

The three things which matter most are CUDA cores, VRAM and Bus Width. Higher numbers are always better.

one has more cuda cores and bandwidth and one has 1.5 times more memory. what to do :p

More cores and bandwidth will get the job done faster.

More memory will allow larger resolutions, help with Temporal Noise Reduction, more Fusion nodes.

What's your priority?

I think the 12GB sounds better if you are going to work on 4K, UHD resolutions

If the problems with false "GPU Memory Full" messages for Nvidia can be sorted out, I'd second that.
12 GB VRAM should be plenty for UHD/4K, I can live with 8 GB pretty well.
