Merge node dont pass effect

Hi,i have problem i dont know if im getting this wrong but

if i put merge node middle media in and out and join camera shake or flare or some effect it wont let me pass through and i dont see effect on video if i put caamera shake on line without merge everything is ok .

What am i doing wrong ? Merge node is unchanged only placed default.

You don't need a Merge in that scenario.
