Edit Index Bug

The edit index in DR17 shows a number of columns, but they don't all populate as expected. For example, I would expect that columns such as "Comments" and "Color" would populate when these metadata items are added to the clips in the media pool, but they are not.

There's also a column titled "Notes" that I cannot find in the Metadata window, so I'm not sure where this comes from.

It is not a bug.

The Edit Index is for imported EDL. It is still a "display only" function to check imported conforms.
Other functionality has been added over the years like Markers etc. and some export functions.

The User Manual details what the fields are.

Notes are Marker Notes only.
Comments are comments in imported EDLs only.

I agree that with a bit more development the Edit Index could be a great way to access and export Resolve Timeline metadata. Currently it is VERY limited.
