Bug Report:Losing focus of the Audio track while cutting
Hi,
first of all I want to say, that I am very happy with Davinci 17 and this is only a bug report and no criticism.
I noticed the following bug:
Configuration:
Davinci 17, Beta 9 (b33)
Windows 10, Geforce RTx3080, driver: 461.40
I switched on:
Selections follows playhead
I am playing clips in the EDIT page and I am using the function "Ripple end to playhead" to get rid of the rest of the clip I do not need any more.
Now the bug: after using this function (the focus is still on the timeline), only the video track of the next clip is now selected, NOT the corresponding audio track.
That has the effect, that if I am using the ripple end to playhead" function again, I only cut the video and I leaving the audio track of that clip in the timeline. That causes a mess up in the timeline, because I now have the audio track part of the clip I deleted writing over the audio tack of the prior audio track.
If I press the cursors key (while the timeline is still playing), both the video and the audio track are selected again and everything works again as designed. As soon as I cut again (either "ripple start to playhead or ripple end to playhead"), the whole problem comes up again.
This only happens, if I let the timeline "play". If I stop the "playing" and then ripple cut, I have no problems.
I really think this is a bug, I cannot remember having this behavior in Davinci 16.
bye
Christian
