Hey,

Im Using Ver. 17 Build 33. When i have for example 3 Nodes on one Clip, first one Color, second VFX and thrid denoise. And i want to Copy the second node, Resolve copy all Noddes and paste all to ne other Clip. It also Copys Stabilization and Transform Data from the Edit Tab. Thahts annoying. When i Restart Resolve it works. But as soon as i create a new Node it´s broken.

Same for me here. When trying to copy one node to another clip or node within the same clip the whole node tree gets copied. I'm on 17 build 23.
However restarting the program doesn't solve it for me.

Just checked back with version 16 on a different computer just to confirm that it used to work to copy individual nodes :-)

edit:
workaround for now:

- save a still
- display node graph
- drag the node

I think you're looking at a different issue, Ben, which was solved in the Beta 9. Try updating.

If the node graph is in focus a node will be pasted.
If not, the clip is pasted, using the keyframe timeline settings “All, color, sizing” to define what to paste.
All and sizing includes stabilization

To be honest , i love everythinb in the new Dr17 and working prod in it since day 1, but this feel like an illogical degression of a basic universal feature and not needed. Solving a problem that never existed kind of scenario.
Its like you copy a word but paste the whole sentence depending the scenario.
If i copy a node i want to paste a node in any situation, not depending on stuff like focus.
Please bring back the original and simple universaly accepted and since 2000 BC not changed copy/paste behavior. As we are still in beta there is still time to change your mind ;-)

Or make it an option you can toggle in the user preferences (best of both worlds i would say)

Here's how I'm looking at it.

Using shortcuts alone, and without a panel, we can now go through a series of clips and Copy/Paste full grades.

I kinda like that. Previously, we had to use the mouse (middle click).

Hence my request for a user option. Everyone is unique so having options beats being forced into a new workflow. Just my 2c

+ 1 on disabling this option. Way to complicated...

+1 for making this a user adjustable feature
