Resolve 16.2.8 Crashes at "Looking for Control Surface"
Posted: Wed Feb 17, 2021 9:14 pmFor a while now, I have not been able to launch resolve. Every time I launch resolve, It starts loading the page that advertises the products, and then it freezes at "Looking for Control Surface" with a black box around the window. After a couple seconds of it being frozen, it crashes. I checked task manager, and I can confirm that resolve fully closes. I don't remember what I did before it started happening.
Specs:
Rtx 2080 ti
core i9 10900X
Windows 10 64 bit OS
64G ddr4 Ram
I have tried:
reinstalling geforce studio drivers 461.40
restarting (many times)
closing all active nonessential applications
running as administrator
What is the problem and what could I do to fix it?
