Having extreme lag when placing markers in one project.

So for some reason, in one of my projects I am getting a lot of lag when trying to place markes when playing the video back live or pausing then placing one. I have tried everything from updating my davinci resolve to copying everything over to a completely new project to see if that fixes it. It is the same on different songs, when there is no video playing and is really annoying and I can't work on my project until I find a fix. My computer specs are good and I recently got 32gb of 3200Mhz ram.
Other specs are:
RTX 2060
Ryzen 5 3600 at 3.59 GHz

Any help would be appreciated.
