17.1 Public Beta 8 & 9 cannot create cache files

I just notice my m1 Mac mini system cannot create cache files.
I tried uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times with deleting preferences and application support files in "Library" folder under my user account.
Eventually I reinstalled Beta 7 and became normal.
The problem happened both "Smart" & "User" Render Cache setting in editing page. DaVinci renders a few single frames. However when I saw the blue line rendered frames, just showing red missing media image.
I tested my m1 MacBook Air and same problems. After reinstalled Beta7, started creating caches.

For those who haven't reverted: Check to see if there are cache files on disk at the location specified by your Project Settings->Working Folders->Cache Files location. I feel like the blue bar has been an unreliable indication of when Cache files are being used lately, but that they exist. My cache folder contains files with modification dates leading up to today.
Of course, whether those files are being read is another matter. My suspicion is that they are, and that the blue bar just isn't appearing.

I did try changing cache files location from the “Working Folders” section of the Project Settings panel.
I tested local volumes or external volumes alongside checking the Mac Big Sur’s “Security & Privacy” setting of the System Preference.
As long as I used Beta8&9, there were not any cache files with .dvcc extension.
Beta7 works fine with same system setting.

Aah. Must be related to Big Sur, then. I'm still on Catalina.
Edit. Wait. Sorry, I'm an idiot. Just realized this was a 17.1 thread. I'm on an Intel mac.

Greetings - I can confirm the same issue.
17.1 Public Beta 9 - Mac Mini M1.
On the M1 (Big Sur 11.2.1), when I Generate Optimized Media, the application freezes. If I don't Generate Optimized Media, I intermittently see the red missing media image throughout the same media clip. When I try to play through the media, it starts to play the footage then, the application crashes.
I have sent in crash reports.
When I use 17 Public Beta 9 on an iMac (Catalina 10.15.7) the issue goes away (using the same footage mentioned above).

I can confirm same issue on Mac Silicon running 17.1 Beta 9.
Can anyone confirm if this still issue on 17.1 Beta 10?
